Tilly Community Canal Boat CIC

Offering unique canal trips for charities, social enterprises, and community groups.
We also offer bespoke packages for private companies.

Tilly Community Canal Boat is sponsored by HFR Solutions CIC. This sponsorship enables us to offer free trips to selected community organisations including charities, social enterprises and community groups. We have a criteria that organisations need to meet to enable us to offer free trips.

Sometimes we are approached by groups that don't meet our criteria, but we are keen to support them. In this instance we offer subsidised trips.

We also offer corporate packages for companies. These include meeting space, training facilities, team building and first aid training, and hospitality packages, all based onboard Tilly

We are only taking group bookings at the moment.

Essential Trip Insights
-
Tilly has a lift to offer wheelchair access, there is a toilet and a well-equipped kitchen on board.
-
We can take groups of up to 12 passengers on each trip, but this will be reduced depending on how many wheelchairs in any one group. Each wheelchair takes up one passenger space, and we cannot accomodate the larger, battery powered wheelchairs.
-
Due to canal and river trust regulations and our insurance, we cannot take more than 12 passengers on each trip.
-
We will provide tea, coffee and water. You are welcome to bring your own food aboard.
-
We are moored close to the Barge Inn for groups to stop off at at the end of sailing, or we can stop at the New Inn as part of the trip. This will be at the group's cost. We recommend booking in advance.
